I Luv Africa Film Festival 2014

The world of African independent filmmaking is shifting, and this shift is progressive. Last year, the Reel World Underground Link (RWUL) hosted its first annual film festival in Ghana in celebration of independent filmmakers of African descent worldwide. This year, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut in Accra, Ghana, it will be screening films free to the public from October 20-25, 2014.

RWUL aims to “promote independent film culture and to support positive creative film ventures” created by talents often overlooked by mainstream establishments. The line up of 2014 films include those created by some of Africa’s burgeoning innovators: An African City, Chale Wote 2013 In Reverse, COZ OV MONI 2, Better Mus Come, Tengo Talento, Let’s Stay Together, Afripedia’s Angola Series, Clairvoyant, The Analyst, Eti Koro Ntu Egyina, Gold Is Here, The Ghana Grudge and I Won’t Cry.
