1. Include Flowers – To break the monotony of the green garden, include plants with very beautiful flowers. Plants like sunflower (yellow), hibiscus or carnation (red), blue iris or hyacinth (blue), mimosa or lily (pink) in the garden makes it look very attractive.
2. Get rid of weeds – Weeds change the outlook of the garden. They also compete with the plants for nutrients, sunlight and space. They mess up the garden and prevent anyone from seeing the beauty of the garden. Weeds can be gotten rid of by using weedicides or garden tools or by handpicking.
3. Use bright containers for the plants – If you are thinking of cultivating potted plants, brightly painted containers often make the garden look nicer. To catch the attention of more people, paint the pots and the flower beds. Make the pots more visible by cultivating smaller plants near the borders of the pot and the larger ones in the middle.
4. Assemble plants – Assembling plants of the same variety will give the garden a more presentable look. Giving the garden a theme, for instance, all brightly colored plants grouped at a particular place will make the garden look less cluttered.
5. Include some arts – The same way you take time to decorate the interior of your room, that same time should be invested in beautifying the garden. Your garden could do with some beautiful arts made from the flower pots or with some nicely designed ceramic wall hangings. There are some flower pots that can be hanged in the garden to make the garden look great.
