Coco Lounge Bar And Cafe, Accra

I recently attended a conference in Accra that hosted delegates from other countries. Now, what’s the connection to Coco Lounge? Bear with me. On day 2 of the event one of the speakers, a top executive, confessed on stage to having a blast at Coco Lounge the previous night – it was recommended by a Ghanaian attendee. He then exclaimed something to the effect of “If you’re ever in Accra again, Coco Lounge is the place to be!” to which everyone burst into laughter.

Perfectly positioned on the side of Stanbic Heights with tall glass windows that overlook Airport City, this high-end fashionable lifestyle and leisure dining spot has got Accra talking. I personally think the idea of a wood-fired pizza-oven placed in a converted food truck, it’s real folks, is fabulous!

Ambiance is usually the number one checked box for this restaurant, with a fusion of local creative elements such as artworks by Ghana’s very own fine artist Nana Anoff complimenting its stylish designs. The food also gets a check, with day-to-night dining comprising breakfast pizza, eggs rancheros, Coco burger served with a hot pepper garlic aioli and more. And oh, their cakes and desserts are made by renowned pastry chef Geisa Carneiro.

So, I reached out to Coco Lounge management and learned that they also own some other equally fabulous fine dining places in Accra all of which have been recommended by you! Watch our Accra Food & Drink space for upcoming features.

Find Coco Lounge at Stanbic Heights at the corner of Independence and North Liberation Link, Airport City.
